Apple Music Playhead Missing?

Am I no longer able to “scroll through” a song in the Apple Music app? I can’t see the playhead that tells how far you are into a song and let’s you drag to specific parts of the song if you wish. I have been able to access it if I 3D press on the command center or on the standby screen, but it’s puzzling to me that I would be unable to do this inside of the Apple Music app itself.

You can see in the attached image that I have a song playing, but the playhead is missing.

The above response is totally useless. The correct answer is to tap the 3 horizontal lines located in the bottom right. See pic included here.

Hello 316nohj,

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with the Music app on your device. I'd be happy to provide information that may help.

You should see the ability to scroll through a song on the "Now Playing" page. You can find an illustration and more details in the "Listen to music and more in the Apple Music app" section here: Listen to music and more in the Apple Music app.

If you still don't see that feature, force close the Music app: How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

You may also want to restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone.

Finally, be sure your device is fully updated: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

I hope that helps. Take care!
