My siri remote will not turn on my Apple TV but works fine once the apple tv is on. This problem started with the system update Anybody have any solutions?

The touch surface on the Siri Remote can not be used anymore since tvOS 13, to wake the device.

Instead, use the Menu or TV/Home button.
