troubles with Touch ID fingerprint will not unlock MacBook Pro

Recently since the release of the iPhone 11 and the release of the new software I have not been able to unlock my MacBook Pro with my fingerprint that I have always had on my ID. So I have deleted it several times, and went in and replaced it.

Now, I do have dry skin with the weather here, but my fingerprint is still the same. Why is this happening to me? It really stinks that I have to type in my password every time I want into my Mac unless I am wearing my watch that unlocks it, and even that sometimes does not work 100% of the time. Ugh the struggle is real and I am so tired of this! Anyone else having these issues?
