FCPX crash and reopen when click as import flies

FCP 10.6.3 - Folders glitching temporarily on import window Not so much an issue as appears to be a bug, just interested to see if others have experienced the same issue. Import window when opened displays folders but they flash and glitch for a time before correcting. Anyone?

can't open FCPX library Hello! I have a FCPX library I created in 2019 which I can’t open. When I try, I get the “need to update” message in Final Cut. I click update, and then I see the loading window with a progress bar but the program just hangs. I see the spinning color wheel and eventually I need to Force Quit the program (FCPX not responding). I’ve tried opening a copy of this library from my back up, but with the same results. I am running FCPX V10.4.10 on a late 2015 iMac running Mojave V10.14.6 with 32 GB of memory. I googled the problem and I’ve seen suggestions of opening the library package and trashing locked files, but what I saw didn’t match the description in the article so I was hesitant to try anything. Thank you in advance for any help!

iMovie: any .mov, .mp4 files are grey and can't be imported anymore? Good morning, for some reason I can't import .mov or .mp4 files anymore to iMovie. They are grey and can't be selected. When I double click the files, I also get a QuickTime Player error message "This file ist not compatible with QuickTime Player". In external apps like VLC I can watch the movies without problems. --> This happens since the "Device Support Update" for BigSur on Sept. 30th, 2021 Could someone please check the issue? Am I the only one with the problems? MacBook Air 2016 MacOS Big Sur 11.6 iMovie 10.2.5

Anyway I uninstall Fcpx and go to AppStore then I download and install. It work!!!! No reason !!!

What software version, what OS?

Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application to reset the preferences. Do this every time the application crashes.

No I just click at the menu name ‘ import’ then crash , no import windows .they don’t ask or select anything just shut Dow Fcpx
