Sign in to Apple ID every morning

For several weeks I have needed to re-enter my apple id password each morning on my iPhone. My Mac and iPad are not asking for this. Here's what I've tried (in no particular order):

I signed out of iCloud (did not restart phone) and then signed back in.

Changed my AppleID password.

Restarted phone.

Turned iMessage off and back on.

So far nothing has fixed it.

Hello Emery_md,

Thanks for posting to the Apple Support Communities. It appears the iPhone is constantly requiring the Apple ID password. I'll do what I can to help.

It might be related to the connection to the iTunes & App Store which may request for the password. Try these steps here that you haven't done yourself already: If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books

Also, try signing in on another Wi-Fi network or cellular data.

If you're still having issues, answering these might help have a clear understanding:

  • Before the message appears, is a specific app opened?
  • Which version of iOS is on the iPhone? This will be in Settings > General > About > Version.

Best regards.
