PLEASE HELP!!! I can't completely uninstall NORTON and install another antivirus

Hi,

I've had Norton for a while but I feel that the antivirus is literally embedded in every minute processes on my MacBook Pro. I have done everything to uninstall it from my system. Through the application folder, through Norton's removal tool as well, restarted my computer bunch of times and even emptied out the trash bin. I keep getting the same error which states "incompatible software detected norton internet security has been detected". Please help, any thoughts?

You can use Etrecheck  It is a diagnostic tool that's very useful to us in finding problems. It will identify folders where Norton has been installed. After it runs post the log file here. It will contain no personal information. Allowing full drive access will improve the quality of the report.

Do NOT install any other anti-virus.
