I was prompted to this site in order to run a different system, whatever that means.

What's the point of directing to a page that's useless.... waste of time
I also received this direction. chsh -s /bin/zsh. After pasting it into the terminal, i was asked for my password. I'm not sure what this is. Can anybody help me, please. ajg38
It is the login password for your Mac
Thank you for your reply. I tried this but nothing happened. The cursor prompt was a key shape and seemed to prevent any entry. Do you have any other ideas. Cheers ajg
The password is not shown
do the procedure again. Enter your password again. Press enter
This does not seem to be relevant to this topic. The issuing of the initial command is very simple. What are you actually trying to do?
I received terminal icon what is this means.
what is this and do I need to run something if so how do I do that
after I typed 'chsh -s /bin/zsh' in terminal it asked for my password but it's locked, (it has a key icon) I can't type the password, does not let me type... How do I unlock it?
keystrokes are not echoed in terminal. Type your password then hit return.
Yes, you can start with answering: What is zsh?
I've tried that and it didn't work..?

It genuinely does not matter. If you do not use Terminal then do not bother. Or bother. It will make no difference to you either way
You don't need to change your default shell to run the command. There are many shells. You can use any of them.
The default interactive shell is now zsh I have just updated my software to Catalina and my security software is not opening.
