IPad Calls (skype or facetime) do not ring when the screen is locked.

My iPad is not ringing when it is locked. I have checked and rechecked notification settings.

In Settings under Do not disturb theres a Silence option that only has 2 settings - Always or When locked. I cannot remove the ‘tick’ from one of these.

Do not disturb is not enabled.

I wonder if this Silence setting is causing the not ringing issue?

There are sooooo many questions about sounds and not ringing - Apple response to this issue seems lacking.

it must be a bug - a conflict between settings.

Hello,

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.
