Mail on iphone is broken in iOS 13

Ever since updating to iOS 13 my Mail is always screwing up. Mostly it will show no new messages when I am viewing ‘all inboxes’ even when I know I have a ton of new messages. If I go back and view the list of inboxes it displays numbers of new messages next to them, and I can step into each box to see the messages. Sometimes after doing that, only then will the missing messages appear in ‘All inboxes’.

Anyone know a fix for that? It’s a pretty big bug for an Apple app so maybe it isn’t a widespread problem. We’re a few updates in, I would have thought they would have addressed it by now.

Another bug is that if I try to undo after swiping to delete a message, often it will bring back a dozen old deleted messages at once - but NOT the one I just deleted!

There was an update to iOS 13 released this week, iOS 13.2.3. In this update there have been some Mail improvements, as well as in previous updates. You can read about all the updates here: About iOS 13 Updates.

Before updating your iPhone be sure to create a backup of your iPhone data. Having a backup of your data is like having an insurance policy, you don’t plan on using it, but it’s great to have if you need it. Here’s how to back up your iPhone: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Once the backup is complete, please install the update. You can update your iPhone using either wireless over-the-air updating or update using your computer: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Let me know how mail performs in iOS 13.2.3 on your iPhone.
