How do I change the default Facebook account when connecting games and apps?

I have a new phone and want to connect the apps and games to my Facebook account. However, every time I try the only option is to connect to the previous Facebook account that was already on the phone. I already switched to my account on the Facebook app. It still doesn’t register inside the other apps and games. And on those apps, when I go to connect them to Facebook, there is no option to log out and log in to a new account. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps and games. And I tried looking for the way to switch Facebook accounts in the Apple settings. That doesn’t seem to exist as an option anymore.

Any ideas?

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. If I understand your post, you have recently gotten an iPhone and are unable to sign into your Facebook account on several games, as it keeps prompting to sign in using the previous owner's account. I'm happy to help!

What you're describing sounds like the previous owner of this iPhone was using Game Center with iCloud and did not sign out of their Apple ID or erase their information prior to giving the phone to you. Until the previous owner's Apple ID is no longer associated with Game Center and iCloud, it will prompt to sign into that person's Facebook when you try logging into games.

You can have the previous owner follow the steps under the "If you no longer have your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" section of What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support to get it ready for your use, then you can set it up with your information.
