Mainstage 3 Endless Sustain

I'm having major issues with my sustain in MainStage 3. MainStage is recognizing my press and release like it should on the screen- but the actual sustain pedal is doing nothing. Instead the program is automatically sustaining notes indefinitely and won't stop the sustain until I literally close out the program. My pedal is set to all of the correct functions, I have checked, and is registering on a press and release sustain on screen- but it's useless. Please help!
