Hotel Wi-Fi password pop up does not pop up

I cannot get the hotel’s internet sign-in to pop up when I try to connect my MacBook

There is a tick at the side of the correct SSID in the drop down list but it refuses to appear. Can't connect in a hotel When I check into a hotel (true for multiple hotels), I can connect to their WiFi, but my MBP (OS 13.3.1) won't connect to their network, so no login screen appears. The hotel's IT team can find my individual machine and authorize it, and I am then fine. Restarting does not help. The IT team wondered if it was my DNS settings. Any help would be appreciated. Bob

Public wireless internet connection issue My MacBook air can not connect to the internet when in a hotel, hospital, etc. A location where to sign into their internet you need to click on a page saying you accept their terms. My hubby has tried to find the issue with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks

Try going to <http://neverssl.com>. It a trick to get those login pop-ups to happen. And of course your browser cannot block pop-ups 😀
