Sudden slow upload speeds from one of my MacBook pros.

Hi there,

I'm a photographer that supplies images via an online gallery and as of a couple weeks ago I was uploading images to a gallery and they kept timing out. I'm not sure what has changed to make my upload speeds so extremely slow?

I've tried using different internet connections and have had to resort to transferring all clients images to my old MacBook specifically to upload everything from there which is just a big pain in the ***!

Are there any settings I can change on my MacBook to speed things up again??? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey there Jessus,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having some issues with your Wi-Fi upload speed. I’ll be happy to help.

Make sure you’re using the recommended settings on your Wi-Fi router as seen in this article:

Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

Also, make sure there is nothing that could be causing interference with your Mac:

If that doesn’t help, use Wireless Diagnostics on your Mac:

This article has more info:

Let me know if this helps.
