iMac won't scroll with magic mouse

Magic mouse scrolls with MacBook, but not iMac. This started after catalina upgrade.

mouse stopped scrolling since i upgraded to Monterey. I have to reboot to make it work! has anyone found an answer to this? I think I'm not the only one! Magic Mouse on imac
