Catalina crashes logic what ever I do! Wont even open a project half the time. without restart!
Why oh why do I update my mac! Thought id left it long enough. Im so sick of Apple. There is always some sort of problem with something! (and they're always trying to shaft you in one way or another)

If the issue occurs in both scenarios, uninstall and reinstall the app:
Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books
