Logitech Slim Folio Pro keyboard

I have set up the keyboard but it is not working - light keeps blinking - if I hold the battery key (I think that is what it is) it turns green for a couple of seconds then goes to a white light. How do I get it to work when I want to use it with the iPad?

Also I am new to Apple - how do I shut down the ipad? Also trying to close windows that were opened but can't seem to swipe and find them. Not sure if I am liking Apple so use to Android.

Thanks.

Hello,

This is a common problem with the Logitech Slim Folio.

You will need to reach out to Logitech's support for assistance with their product.

To power iPad off you can either press and hold the Sleep/Wake Button or you can open Settings > General > Shut Down.

You can close applications from iPad's App Switcher although it is not too critical for you to manage these open applications as iPad's system software will manage software in memory. In most cases, it is more energy efficient to keep software open instead of closing each application and opening them when you need them.

It most likely will take a little time getting used to iPad over Android. Once you move past this initial hurdle you will come to love the iPad. If you have any questions about iPad feel free to reach back out to us and we'll do our best to help!

Thank you for answering my questions. I did find how to close iPad under settings/general/shutdown. Not sure where sleep/wake button is. I'm so use to clearing out history on Android that is why I was looking to close programs I was checking out. Seems like everything I opened I had to put my Apple ID/password. I tried downloading Candy Crush and Facebook and it never did. Indicator kept spinning and then I tried to cancel it and that didn't work.

Also thanks for sending attachment - I will look at it closer in AM. I will also reach out to Logitech or may be Best Buy where I purchased both items.

You are welcome.

Depending on which iPad model you have, iPad has 3 - 4 physical buttons. If you have an iPad Pro (3rd generation) (which has Face ID) then there is only 3 buttons. If you have an iPad with Touch ID then your iPad will have 4 buttons.

iPad Pro (3rd generation):

With iPad in portrait orientation, the button on the very top is the Sleep/Wake Button. On the right side are 2 volume buttons.

Any other iPad model:

With iPad in portrait orientation, the button on the very top is the Sleep/Wake Button. On the right side are 2 volume buttons. On the bottom of iPad's display is the Home Button.
