Trouble Updating to Catalina

I have been trying to update to MacOS Catalina ever since it came out and I keep getting one of two error. 1) I have lost internet connection during the download. (which can't be because I have tried connecting via Wifi, ethernet and even at a different location from the site that I am at currently. So I don't think it is an Internet issue. 2) After rebooting and reinstalling MacOS Mojave 10.14.6 and clearing my web connection history I got a new error saying that the download was removed from the apple server. Is this something someone can help me with?

The error you are receiving now refers to content cashing.


To resolve this, the easiest thing is to disable the content cashing. Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Sharing and unchecking content cashing option. Next try the upgrade again and it should work.


Regarding the lost internet connection, let's address the error at hand first and then we can look into the other issue if it's still occurring.


Make sue you have a backup of your data before upgrading in case something could happen.
