Photos
In Photos one can create albums. If I delete photos from the full list of Photos or in the “recents” album,
am I also deleting that photo from my album. In other words, does an album stand by itself, or is it linked to all photos?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean; I was referring to the fact that the Photos app may have the same photo in multiple different places (e.g, All Photos, Memories, People and Places, and multiple user-created albums) but they all reflect a single photo stored on the phone.

It is linked to all photos. There is only one copy of the photo in storage and it is shown in multiple places.
