Activity app history not updating

I needed to erase and restart my iPhone 8 Plus last week due to forgetting my PIN. After doing this, I am seeing that my Activity app’s history is no longer syncing with my Apple Watch Series 5 despite my watch keeping the data fresh. I’ve restarted both devices, turned airplane mode on and off for both, forced quit Activity app on both devices, changed the calorie goal in the Activity app on the watch, and have yet to find another workaround short of wiping both devices. There are some posts recently in this, but no solution. Any help out there? Here’s a screen shot showing the last history recorded and today’s date:

Thanks for the tip. I was reluctant to try it in fear I would lose what I had done the past week, however, I tried it. It didn’t seem to work 100% which is weird. Today and yesterday “somewhat” populated (see photo). This is very frustrating. I really wish Apple would work on what they HAVE made instead of what they WANT TO make.


Still, any other ideas out there to fix this are welcome.
