Split Screen Issue

Recently in the last few days when I try watching either a movie from Netflix or Stan or when I watch a youtube video in full screen, the image gets a 1/4 split in it, Im unable to take a screen shot of of the issue as it doesn't show up but here are a few photos that show it. It does this every-time I try to view any video in full screen, and I dont know what the issue is.

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. From your message and photos I see that you're having trouble when you try to watch a video in full screen. 


Begin with these troubleshooting steps: 

1 - Quit all apps, if there are any that won't quit, follow these steps: How to force an app to quit on your Mac


2 - Restart your iMac: Go to the Apple menu in the top left corner of your screen > Restart. 


3 - If you haven't been using Safari, try watching the videos using Safari.


4 - If the issue persists in Safari, restart in safe mode and test again: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac


5 - If still occurring in safe mode you’ll need to create a new user and test it out again in Safari. This article will show you how: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.
