Macbook 16" 2019 and 4K HDR

Does the Macbook 16" 2019 support the 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDR 10 bit on the USB-C output to connect an external TV (HDR capable) ?

In case it supports:

  • how many 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDR 10 bit outputs simultaneously?
  • Is there an adapter USB-C to HDMI capable of 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDR 10 bit to connect TVs with HDMI input?

Hi there, thsmn,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. I understand that you'd like to know if the MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) will support a specific video output over USB-C to a TV. I'm happy to provide you with some information.

The technical specifications for that model MacBook Pro can be found here: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) - Technical Specifications. The following information from those technical specifications will provide what is supported.

"Video Support

  • Up to two displays with 6016‑by‑3384 resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors
  • Up to four displays with 4096‑by‑2304 resolution at 60Hz at over a billion colors

Thunderbolt 3 digital video output
