Duplicate Playlists in iTunes

Why does duplicate playlists appear when syncing iPod Touch, 5th Gen., to my Dell A-I-1 desktop. Always keep settings on automatically sync with iPod and connect via Wi-Fi when connecting iTouch to the computer via USB. Tried deleting the duplicate playlists but they keep returning whenever I go back into iTunes with my iTouch connected.

Some music playlists duplicated as audiobook playlists Hi, Some of my hundreds of music playlists on iTunes have been replicated as empty audiobook playlists. If I try and delete the audiobook playlist in iTunes it deletes the music playlist as well. If I try and remove the playlist by unticking the playlist from my iPhone's music list and then syncing it removes them files. However on my iPhone (new iPhone SE2) the playlist remains as a music playlist but with the songs greyed out and unplayable. IF I sync my playlist again my PC thinks that I've deleted the contents of the playlist and removes them from iTunes on my PC. None of these syncing problems occur with the iTunes music playlists that aren't duplicared as iTunes audiobook playlists. So can anyone suggest: a) a way or removing the playlist in audiobooks on my PC's iTunes without also deleting the playlist in music on my PC's iTunes b) a way of removing the ghostly (audiobook?) playlists from my iPhone so I can resync everything with a clean slate (I'm not keen to do a fatory reset as I need to make sure all my photos are in iCloud beforehand). iTunes keeps re-syncing the same 34 songs Every time i sync any of my Apple devices (iPhone 11, iPhone 7 (both on iOS 15.3, but this has happened on previous versions), iPod classic), the same 34 songs get re-synced to all devices. This is despite nothing having been done to the tracks (changed artwork, etc.). The same is true of some playlists. How can i fix this?

Apple Music removes songs from playlists this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. It is infuriating spending months sorting music into playlists for iTunes to randomly decide to remove tracks I put into playlists from those playlists. How does this happen? I used to have a Mac and only have an iPad and iPhone that I use together with my Windows 10 PC. I had 10.000 songs sorted into moods and now randomly some playlists are missing most of the tracks added. Looking forward to not having this happen again.

Hello,

Try disabling Music synchronization for your iPod then delete any duplicate playlists on your computer. Once this is done re-enable Music synchronization on your iPod.
