Terrible font quality in MacBook Air 2017

Hi there,

I have a MacBook Air 2017 which has 1440x900 screen resolution. I have had a font quality issue since Mojave update. After Catalina update, things got worse. When I use High Sierra, screen and font quality was very clear and I had no trouble about that. But now it's really hard to see some texts and graphics. I tried some methods such entering some codes through Terminal but those don't work. I know some of you will say "Your screen is not retina and it's normal" but before Mojave everything was better. So I guess it's about operating system and Apple has to fix that. I add screenshots from some programs in my Mac below so you can check it. I am looking forward to suggestions. Thanks!

Very strange. I should note that my MacBook Air 2011 isn't even supported to run Catalina, but does work except with High Sierra's graphics drivers (kext), which is the latest macOS this machine supports. Maybe that's why fonts look better but I don't know, I can't believe that they would leave this issue unfixed on Catalina with non-retina displays. Well, you don't lose much - only dark mode, essentialy, and High Sierra is supported and secure for at least another year.
