Airplay stopped working

Airplay from iMac to my Pioneer receiver just stopped working. I have confirmed that they are on the same network. I can see the receiver on the iMac and have selected it. The receiver display shows it's in airplay...but no sound.

I've done all the troubleshooting I'm aware of.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I'd start by resetting the NVRAM on the the Mac and ensuring Mac OS is up-to-date. You haven't told us what version of Mac OS is installed though! That is critical when asking a question about a Mac.

Also please check that your Pioneer has up-to-date firmware installed, you will need to check your Pioneer's manual on how to do that.
