No full screen with my iPad Pro on an external monitor

This is not true my friend!! I have a native 1080 TV (16:9) does not work. I tried other resolutions too with the same result.

Also is not important if it is 1080 or not. iPad Pro “MUST” to rescale in 720, 1080, 4K, 16:9, 4:3................... Its obligatory for me

I agree! I purchased the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9" to replace my iPad Air 3rd Gen and 2015 MacBook Pro with 1 device and was quite disappointed to discover the black bars when I connected it to an external monitor using a Dell USB-C docking station. I will say, aside from that, it's been an amazing device but, as others have said, it has a long way to go to be a laptop replacement. :(

Totally agree! Why call it a "Pro" device, when it is not to be used pro-like?!

Especially annoying with safari. Almost all web pages are adaptive to all kind of resolution and aspect ratio. At least safari should be full screen.

Apple tv + output scales perfectly 😂😂. Netflix and other streaming services scales, but not well.

Brilliant. I so agree. Apple is an incredible system and they are lacking in the basics as described by the gentlemen above.
