Bluetooth issues with Toyota Entune System

Since the most recent update when pairing my iPhone 7 it works for about 2 minutes and the radio system turns off and reboots. Toyota said it was an update issue with Apple and interestingly it does not do it with another phone using IOS 12. Anyone else having this issue and if so any solution? Thanks

So I disabled in the bluetooth settings on my iphone 8plus sync contacts and sync notifications and Bluetooth works perfect. On my Iphone 8plus Im running IOS 13.3.1 and on the entune system Im running firmware 010192. I dont care about syncing contacts to Entune nor do I care about notifications. I just care that I can make and receive calls and listen to music via Amazon music or Apple Music.

I’ve had the same issue crop up recently between my iPhone10 (iOS 13.3.1) and my 2014 Toyota Tundra. My Tundra worked fine with my iPhone 10 for the last year. Suddenly - two weeks ago - it started this garbage of rebooting the console every 2-3 minutes CONSTANTLY. Took it in to the dealership to make sure the software was up-to-date by Toyota - but it did NOT fix the problem.

It looks like many other people posting here have had the same issue for MONTHS - since late 2019.

Toyota and Apple need to pull their head out of their *** and FIX this.

The 2019 Highlander Limited I had never worked from the day I purchased it. I traded it back in for a 2020 with Apple play. I could get the Bluetooth to work after deleting it from my vehicle, re adding my iPhone X, BUT NOT adding my contact list. So I could talk hands free but couldn’t use voice to call. I had to key pad in to call out. Not what I just paid over 40k for! I’ve been half sick over this issue for 2 months. I was in arbitration with Toyota, as several others are. My dealership ended up helping me after my posts on social media about the purchase and that it never worked. Toyota gave me a case number. They are aware of the unsolved issue, but were doing NOTHING.

So you work for Toyota and place all the blame on Apple? Toyota has many in arbitration for this failure. When I purchased a new car, I expect new technology, in fact it was the reason I purchased a new car. My dealership ended up being the one to make things right for me. NOT Toyota. They know it’s their cheap outdated system they put in 2019 and are depending on Apple to bring it up to Standards. If not being able to sync your contacts, or use the Entune system as advertised is no problems works fine, your quality of good work is unacceptable after paying the price for a new Toyota vehicle. Half a fix, is probably all the other older Toyota owners will get. The the 4 runners, I have no knowledge of, but if the Entune system doesn’t work as advertised, it’s not fixed.
