Hello,

it isn't possible to set up APN (access point name). Before, it was possible

through a application from 3rd party. We need it to use virtual mobile private

network (we have a different, unique APN). Also we need to use static IP address

(apn is set up to internet.static) or public dynamic ip address (apn is set up

to internet.vip) We tried it with MDM, mobile device management, but it is very

complicated. In earlier versions of iOS it was possible in menu / settings /

mobile data / mobile data options / mobile data network. Which is the easiest

way to change APN on iPhone? Sometimes we need to change the apn settings more

than 3 time per day.

This option comes along with Carrier Settings when you insert a Sim and wait for it to connect to the network and fetch all network settings.

If you iPhone does not have APN setting option that mean you carrier has not made any provision of change of APN setting manually.

When you use Google FI sim on iPhone in USA, you need to enter APN settings manually under settings > mobile data. Not all Carriers provide this option. In India too only BSNL (Telecom Co) provides this APN option not any other like AirTel, Vodafone etc..

Thanks for the answer. But, we can only set up a apn for mobile hotspot. I already tried it with inserted SIM card. Nothing changed. I already contacted my mobile operator, and he has no solution for me. Other operating system, like android has no problem with this. I can change the apn settnings, i can create apn profiles in the phone and select whitch one i want to use.
