I'm currently using an iphone 8. American Express has been working in Apple wallet until update to iOS 13.2.3. All attempted purchases were declined. Card works with online purchases. Issue appears to be with the update. Any thoughts?

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Apple wallet glitch? I tried adding my debit card on apple wallet and it says “could not add card.” I also added my credit card but it says “call bank for verification.” I called my card issuer regarding my cards. They said that there are no problems on their part regarding this issue. Regarding my debit card, I added it before and everything went smoothly. I used it to pay at the mall. But since I can’t add my credit card, I tried troubleshooting by signing out of my apple id and logging back in, switched my phone off and then back on. But upon entering again previously okay debit card details, it stated “could not add card.” My phone’s iOS and laptop macOS is up to date. Bank says there are no issues on their part and my cards are all working fine. Country is set correctly. Even on my macbook air, it says that they could not add both my cards on the system. My phone is a 12 pro max and laptop is macbook air M1 if that helps.

Problem with wallet Hello, I have this problem: I want to add a Bank card to the wallet app to pay with apple pay, before that everything worked fine, but after updating from ios 13 to ios 13.1 (in my opinion), I began to pop up such an error when adding a card as "failure to add a card, try again later or contact the Issuer". Reset settings to factory settings, changed the region, nothing helps! Tell me what to do?

Cant add card to apple wallet. I get a new phone today and when I try to add a card to apple wallet it instantly fails. It never even asks me for the card information, just the moment I click the little + icon it says "Could not add card, try again later or contact your card issuer for more information" It doesn't make sense to contact the card issuer since I didn't even get the opportunity to enter a card at all. I have tried Removed and adding passcode. Logging in and out of my iCloud account. Restarting my phone. Making sure my region is set to the USA. Disabling any VPN and management profiles.

try deleting the card and adding it again.

Did you call American Express to see if they have discontinued support for Apple Pay?
