homekit

I am unable to add any accessories to HomeKit. I have the most current version of iOS on both my iPhone X and IPad mini 5 and neither one will work. I am on my 2.4 ghz WiFi, have reset the router and have tried everything. I have tried connecting 3 different brands of smart plugs I just bought for my house. None of them will pair so it’s not a device issue. Please help!

HomeKit not working after ios15 update When I updated to iOS 15 I have lost all functionality to the HomeKit. I can no longer add devices no matter the manufacturer and the devices I have left toggle from standby to no response often. I have gone through all the resets (phone router setting up HomeKit again) and no dice. Can't add accessories to Homekit; says "Apple Home" instead of "My Home Name" When I try to add a new accessory (tried with all sorts of different accessories) to my home, HomeKit has recently started to pop up with "Add to "Apple Home"" instead of "Add to "My Home"". Then if I continue anyway, it says "Unable to Add Accessory; pairing with accessory failed". My Nanoleaf bulbs are recognised in the Nanoleaf app, but again, trying to add them to My Home presents with "Apple Home" and a failure. So, it's gotta be a HomeKit problem. I've tried everything, and recently even nuked the whole home network, creating a new wifi SSID and new Apple Home - no luck. I'm not using HKSR, and I'm not using "smart" router band switching, so I'm out of ideas. I need help because I can't add a thing now (except for HomePods as they don't use a QR code)

HomeKit I upgraded by routers to eero Pro 6 models a few months ago. Since that time I am unable to add new devices to my HomeKit network. When you scan the code it comes up and says you can't add the device. I've noticed this on two devices from different manufacturers. My software versions are all at the latest level (iPhone, iPAD, HomePods, Mac) and the devices are HomeKit compatible they have codes to scan for installing them. I checked with eero and they said it is a problem that Apple is working on. Does anyone have any idea when this will be fixed? Another issue I noticed with the eero Pro 6 is that I had devices randomly dropping off the network and they would stop responding. I turned off band steering and they started working again.

See Set up and use the Home app - Apple Support in case there is anything there that you've missed. Make sure that your wireless network isn't configured for client isolation or some similar security feature which grants access to the Internet but hides devices on the network from each other.
