My Apple TV is asking for a previous owners password

Hello! I’ve had an Apple TV that I bought pre-owned a few years ago... It’s worked fine for years, I removed all the old accounts from the previous owner when I bought it, and factory reset it. Apple Music has worked just fine for years... all of a sudden a week ago I tried to go to Apple Music and it wants me to enter the Apple ID password for the previous owner... I can’t access any of my music... I’d hate to have to factory reset... is there anything else I can do?

Apple TV 4, tvOS 13

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the previous owner didn’t delete the device from their singed in devices in iCloud and/or unauthorized the device in iTunes. I’m trying to find a way to disassociate a device from an Apple ID without having to log into that Apple ID, but I’m coming up empty. If contact Apple Support, maybe it’s something they can do.

Alternatively, if it shows the full email of the previous owner, you could email them, and ask them to remove the Apple TV from their authorized/signed in devices:
