AirPods Pro Audio Loss

Insanely bothersome issue (Every time) with the Apple podcast app:

When using the 15 second rewind button, the headphones stop plying audio from anywhere between 1 - 8 seconds while the podcast is playing. In order to go back 15 seconds, I have to do it twice (30 seconds), and wait for the audio to begin working again while the podcast has critical seconds ticking by.

this connectivity issue is driving me CRAZY. I returned the pair I bought and purchased new ones and they have the SAME PROBLEM.

Has anyone noticed this???

Hello adamfrompleasanton,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are having an issue with using your AirPod Pros with your iPhone as expected, even after getting a replacement pair. At this point, we would like you to reinstall iOS on your iPhone; this will help us isolate the situation further. Reinstalling iOS should not affect any of your data, but it is always a best practice to make sure you have a current backup in either iTunes or iCloud.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Once you have a current backup, follow the steps from the "If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up" section in this article:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen

Use the “Update” option and not “Restore” and these steps will reinstall iOS. Keep in mind that these steps were written for a different issue, but they will still help us isolate the situation further.

Cheers!

Thanks for replying, adamfrompleasanton, and that additional info, it really helps! At this point, please use a computer to backup and restore your iOS software to factory settings, as this process erases the information and settings on your device and installs a fresh copy of the latest iOS software. Temporarily set up your phone as new to test your issues, and then restore your back up and test the issues again.

If you're still having this issue after temporarily restoring as new, please contact Apple for further assistance with your situation.
