Apple Arcade games won't download and/or update on Mac

Hello,

I have been using Apple Arcade on my Mac and so far it's worked okay. However, it prompted me to update an app, so I clicked update, and it has not updated or done anything for two days. The icon has been greyed out with an empty progress bar, but nothing is happening. It's not a game I really play so I thought I would just delete it. But the greyed icon and progress bar won't go away and the game won't redownload.

It's more annoying than anything but how do I get rid of the icons? or force it to redownload the game? I already tried the basic: restart the computer, log out/log back in, etc. Any other ideas?
