I have a lot of videos I created and saved to iTunes that do not show up in the TV app or the Music app. I assumed they would carry over to the TV app. I am accessing my media folder on and external app too. Music and movie rentals and purchases are fine. Help!
Was the external drive connected during the upgrade or the first launch of the Music and TV apps? If not content that couldn't be found might have been dropped. You should be able to import it after the fact if needed. In TV try File > Add to Library and select your Movies and TV Shows folders respectively.
