I will update the post as it develops.
I returned my AAP last December, to this date I have not received one penny back for my AirPods Pro that caused very severe damage to my ears and that were send back to them. It’s ridiculous!
Me too! They received my late in December. I’ve contacted my advisor and he tells me they are working on it. I’m not sure why the refund process is taking so long.
Its not acceptable IMO.
Apple support told me last week it would take 1 1/2-2 months to get a refund check because the refund dept was in backlog. Do you have the case number? Contact Apple and ask for a update
Thank you for the update. I do have all the info.
Have you read this thread? It’s nearly 100 pages of people citing examples of reactions to the product with zero instances of Apple Support acknowledging the issue.
Yep! That’s why I bought Raycon’s and have NO issues with them, whereas the airpod pros were a nightmare for my ears. Besides, the Raycon’s look MUCH better and stay in MUCH better!!
Yeah. Sad isn’t it? There’s a problem and I’m not sure why they aren’t addressing it. Its not going away.
If you owned a business would you buy this product for employees to use or would you be concerned about possibly being held liable if an employee had this type of severe reaction to the product?
Thanks both. That is helpful to know.
Which of the recommended alternative in-ears offer both, active noise cancellation (ANC) and Qi charging?
I know! I loved my APPS. I hate thar my ears were worse badly effected. I’m surprised there aren’t more people. Maybe they are ignoring the issue or we are the few unfortunate ones.
I was told it would take 2 1/2-3 months to get my refund
Yes. Once you send the APP back to Apple and they receive them it takes awhile. I sent mine back in late December and was notified last week that I would receive a check within 15 days.
Tried changing the tips same issues. It’s not the tips. Only realized it had to be the pods after not using them for a month or so and symptoms came back worse than the first time.
Allergic to AirPods too
My ears itch when I use them now. Something in the ear piece . I can't bare them. Used them fine for a couple of weeks until bam I couldn't leave them on for 5 min .
