Keyboard and trackpad, audio on not working

Hi!

I installed Windows 10 using external SSD and WintoUSB utility and used latest drivers from BootCamp.

But keyboard and trackpad not working even after installing drivers and audio as well (I reinstalled audio manually and do not work)

Another thing that clearly not working is that boot camp icon if I try to click on "Restart in Mac OS" not work and when I try access BootCamp control panel not work as well. I tried to reinstall BootCamp drivers but did not help.

Can anybody help in this matter??

If you downloaded the drivers to a USB Flash drive, it should have a Bootcamp.xml file. Use a text editor and post the line which has Product Version. It will look similar to

<ProductManufacturer>Apple Inc.</ProductManufacturer>
<ProductVersion>5.1.5769</ProductVersion>
<ProductCode>{FA2B2C2A-EA41-495A-9308-60726125D562}</ProductCode>

Each Mac model is supported by a specific version/product code.

I get the same version.

<ProductManufacturer>Apple Inc.</ProductManufacturer>
<ProductVersion>6.1.7242</ProductVersion>
<ProductCode>{FCFFE6B6-BAE8-490E-88D0-097A9DA1C43D}</ProductCode>

Can you verify that you have

  • This is the executable for switching back to macOS.

<File Name="AppleControlPanel.exe">
<KeyPath>yes</KeyPath>
<FileVersion>6.1.7000.3</FileVersion>
</File>

  • For Keyboard and Trackpad, do you have the Apple drivers installed? If you do, the Apple Trackpad and Keyboard should show in the Windows Device Manager. I assume these are internal Trackpad/Keyboard, not external BT devices.
  • For Audio, do you have an Apple Audio Device in Windows Device Manager?

Yes I have that.

I don't see any but I installed drivers.

For Audio, do you have an Apple Audio Device in Windows Device Manager?

Yes I have but I have a yellow warning sign there so I tried to reinstall it manually but nothing changed and there is still that yellow warning mark/sign and when I tried once again windows said "Latest drivers already installed" so don't know what to do about that.

Where did you get the 'latest' drivers from?

From Boot Camp Assistant when you navigate to the panel and "Action" and "Download Windows Support Software"

Do you have any unknown devices in Windows Device Manager?

It doesn' t seem like there is any device that's unknown everything seem like it's detected.

This is from a 2018 rMBP. It is not the same Mac as yours, but should be close to what you have.

How much disk space do you have on your internal disk? What is the total size of the storage?

120GB yes quite low but I don't have money thought so you know Xd. That's the reason why I'm installing windows on external ssd because on my internal there's no space not even 40G for BootCamp even if I clean it a bit it wouldn't be good because it would have 2-3-5GB left and for updates and just working it would not work sooo that's why a chose this way.
