When someone sends an email to both my husband and me on our separate iCloud email accounts, if one of us reads it it shows up as “read” on the other’s account. This has only been happening for a few months. I see someone asked this same question in 2013 and it was not resolved. It’s super annoying. Please help.

I don't have two iCloud email accounts but I do have one and I'd think your issue would be cause one Appleid is managing that iCloud account. If you had your own Apple ID then you'd have your own iCloud email account.
Thanks - I will see if something changed with the way we have things set up, but we’ve been using our emails like this for years and this wasn’t an issue until fairly recently.
