How do I get rid of the annoying little blue arrows on search pages?

why do I get numbered arrows next to menus? I suddenly started to get strange arrows pointing to menus and I cannot figure out why. Could somebody help, please? stop showing top hits in search bar on safari Every time I enter something in the search bar at the top of safari, I get a top hit - see attached image. I have tried everything (including deleting the history in the safari library and clearing all history), but to no avail. Any suggestions to remove this top hits would be appreciated. Thank you.
