My iMessages on my 12” MacBook are all getting converted to SMS (appear in green, not blue) and show as “Not Delivered”—and the recipient has an iPhone and messages sent in my iPhone anti this person are iMessages. The messages I have been trying to send her this past week have also not shown up in my phone.

I was sending to a phone # (iPhone). Though my MacBook is I over a year old, and had been sending many IMessages throughout that time, including to this same person, when I got my new iPhone 10 days ago, it seemed to create chaos for Messages in my MacBook (new iPhone had no trouble). So I had to set up iMessages all over again, with multiple verification numbers and re-entry of passwords. With those measures, I finally got it to work properly.
