Apple watch 3 overheating / not charging

Having trouble with my watch. Tried everything on https://support.apple.com/en-za/HT204640.

Watch gets extremely hot when charging and is not turning on. Also shows the temperature icon at some point. This has been going on for 3 days without any success.

Apple Watch overheating won’t charge My Apple Watch went dead today...every time I place it on the charger it overheats and won’t charge. I’ve tried to reboot but it’s just showing a black screen. When I charge it within 5 mins the temp symbol appears and it’s very hot. Any suggestions?
