Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having issues with #images on your iPhone. I’ll be happy to help.
Are you editing the app drawer when you see this red minus? If so, that means the only option is to remove #images from the app drawer. Once it’s been removed, you should be able to add it back. Take a look at these links for more info:

If you’re having issues using #images, restart your iPhone and try using it over both Wi-Fi and cellular data:
