SideCar does not work with MacBook Pro (2016) and iPad Pro

I have a MacBook Pro (late 2016) running OSX Catalina and iPad Pro (2019 purchase) running iOS13.2.3.

MacBook recognizes iPad with wired connection (listed as active USB device) or also can connect with Bluetooth. Connected to same WiFi. Both logged into same AppleID. I have no security

However, in either situation, SideCar does not work. iPad is not listed as a dropdown in Devices.


I have signed in and out of AppleID and booted and rebooted countless times.

There is a serious bug here. I have latest hardware and software and SideCar does not work.

I actually purchased the iPad Pro EXPRESSLY FOR THE SIDECAR (SECONDARY DISPLAY) FEATURE.

I need this to work.
