I create documents in the Pages App and often when I go to the search finder the next day, I cannot find the document. If I click on the iCloud Drive name in the list I may find it. But If I type the same file name in the finder search glass area it doesn't show up. Does anyone know any solution to search issues?

Pages will always save documents to the last save location — until you change it.
In Spotlight, you might try giving it some help:
Find any Pages document created yesterday or more recently:
kind:pages created:>12/03/2019
Find any Pages document created in the last six months that contain the word stranger, and has the font NewBaskerville-Roman:
kind:pages created:>06/01/2019 font:NewBaskerville-Roman stranger

trouble searching for documents
