Hi! I bought an unlocked 'Sim Free' iPhone 11 from the apple store. I have been on Metro by T Mobile, but now my husband and I are switching to Verizon. Is my phone locked to Metro by T Mobile because that was the first sim card that was put in the phone or am I easily able to switch carriers since the phone was bought unlocked and sim free?

I believe you are "locked"to TMobile and will need their approval for switching to Verizon.
You can use any service you pay for. The device is not carrier locked.
I bought my phone from apple unlocked and SIM-Free from apple (see above)
Then you have your answer. Your phone should be moveable to Verizon.
