I have an iMac 27 running El Capitan. My print colours are well off and I tried to calibrate with the new XRite (Colormunki) . I get a message infers aid Log' number of output channelsisnt correct. B curves are missing. what can I do.

I calibrated with the new XRite (Colormunki) and monitor colours compare well with others but prints which I also calibrated, are still very pink. Also, they are very pink on an uncalibrated printer. I used Profile First Aid from Utilities and get a message; Tag'gamt':Number of output channels isn't correct.

Tag'gamt':"b" curves are missing.

verify done. Found 2 bad profiles.

Cannot repair.

Does anyone have any idea whats has happened and how I can repair it. May upgrade to different OSX?

Upgrading OSX probably will not help. I have exact same 2 messages (Tag 'gamt') and I am running Catalina, also on an iMac 27. Like you, I was attempting to calibrate my printer using the latest X-Rite i1Studio software and my 6 year old ColorMunki hardware. Like you, Profile First Aid could not repair the profiles. I am still investigating the implications and importance of the error messages.

I have been investigating this Tag 'gamt' problem for many weeks now, and today with help from X-Rite I finally found the answer - at least for my own particular circumstances. In my case, I was using X-Rite i1Studio Ver. 1.5.1 (with an old ColorMunki Photo hardware device) to create an Epson ET-7750 printer profile. The mistake I made was to save the profile as Ver. 4 rather than Ver. 2. Hey presto, saving as Ver. 2 eliminated the problem.
