Certain iMessage apps not working

In my iMessage app, there are little buttons at the bottom for Animoji and Animoji stickers. When I press on one of those things, it doesn’t show up. It shows a little gray boarderline indicating that it has been pressed but Animoji doesn’t show up. If only works when I search it up in the iMessage App Store and press “open”

Animoji I do not have the monkey on my menu bar on either my iPhone 8+ and iPad Pro. The previous explanation does not help as I have no idea how to search ‘iMessage apps’ the screen used does not seem to apply to me. Thanks

Irritating iMessage App Bar How do I remove the app bar from iMessage iOS? I don't put goofy gifs, or meme's, or clownish avatars on my texts, and prefer the options not pop up due to close proximity to the digital keyboard. Can I remove the bar, or shift it to the bottom of the keyboard? If Apple has forced this upon users, what alternate text app does this community recommend?

I just found out it wasn’t working because of screen time restrictions. Thank you for helping though

Yes and the weird thing is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t
