No search field available in itunes Store

Opening the music app on MacOS 10.15.1 then selecting the iTunes store I don't have a search field available to search for music, artists, etc..... I checked my wife's computer and the same, no search field available. Is this normal? I find it hard to think that someone would make it difficult for a customer to find a product on their store to purchase. There use to be one. Any ideas??

searching iTunes store? How.... I am trying to search the itunes store. My mac runs Monterey. Like many others on this forum, the new music app on my mac does not let me. I have read replies to countless questions where the solution appears to be to go to music>preferences>general and click show both apple music and itunes store. I have both ticked. There is no box to modify "restrictions". When I go to search I can still only search my library - there are not three options on the right hand side to select what to search. How do I get these options to appear on the top right hand side to enable searching the itunes store?

Cannot search itunes store from music app on mac When I click on search, it only wants to search my music library. Another post showed options in the upper right corner. I do not see those.

Well, my wife just came to show me the light. Its there I just was fixated on the wrong location. Good thing I have her around to keep me in line.
