i am going to buy Apple Watch 5 series in USA and use it in Russia. It is strongly important to us the ECG and irregular heart rhythm measuring functions. Will this functions work properly in Russia in case the Russia is not in the list of countries where these functions are supported?

if russia is not on the list it will not work by any means
for it to work the government of both the place one purchased it and the place one is located (it has gps) has to approved the feature
it's viewed as medical equipment and illegal to use without government approval
