dropbox won’t load or download files

Hey,


I have a brand new iPad 10.2.

i need it for keynote and Dropbox for work.

i downloaded and signed into Dropbox, but every time i try to check out a file, it won’t let me. The file says that it can’t load and it won’t show an option to download. When I try to log into Dropbox on a browser, the files load and it even shows a download option. But instead of actually downloading to keynote where I can edit the file, the browser just shot the basic thumbnails for each slide. No way to play media on the slides or edit the slides. It doesn’t actually download the files, they just open up in the browser. When I go to the files app to check on the files, they are greed out with a little exclamation mark in one corner and an empty cloud in another.



i tried uninstalling both Dropbox and the files app, because that’s what some online support forums said to do, but it didn’t work. In fact, my problem is worse. Now the Dropbox server doesn’t show up on the files app and I can’t seem to add it!


how do I fix this so I can download files from the Dropbox and use/ edit them right away. If I can’t find an answer I’m returning this product because it is no use to me.
