how to transfer multiple pdf files from books to Files on ipad?

Trying to backup Multiple PDF files from books on my IPad to USB memory stick, and can’t see how to other than individual files one by one. When I select all files there is no option to copy to Files?

Transfer pdf files from laptop to iPad I have a first-gen 12.9 pro. I use it as a musician to read my sheet music files. Is there any way to transfer 1500 files (a total of 417mB) in one move so they can be accessed from Adobe on the iPad? There is plenty of space on the pad. I would like to NOT use iTunes if possible.

copy pdf from macbook to ipad since apple 'improved' - i can no longer copy pdf files from my macbook to my ipad...it used to be so easy! can't figure it out now...frustrating! they used to go into acrobat, now what i see via google is that they'll show up in books on my ipad. but they're not there either. what else do i need to do?
