Podcast app keeps crashing

Seems to be working now. Spent 30 minutes on phone with Apple. There was an iCloud error earlier in day. Since someone said airplane mode stopped the crashing and Podcast app using iCloud to sync between devices, Apple reps started talking amongst themselves about this. After 15 minutes, started testing with them. Went 20 minutes with no crash at all and playback times syncing normally between devices. It looks like it may be fixed. Keeping case open with Apple to follow up if needed.

I had this problem earlier today but now after a few hours it seem to be working. I did reinstall the podcast app and change my settings to not automatically sync but for the first few hours it still was crashing. Hopefully it was something apple did and every bodies else app is working now

I had WiFi off the entire time I was listening to the podcast app. I tried turning cellular off then on & restarting my phone multiple times but nothing worked. My app has been working fine for the last three hours. The issue must have resolved itself.

I’ve tried a few different things, and the only thing that I have found that seems to help at all, is switching off Wi-Fi then just using cellular. But Even this doesn’t always work, but it does seem to last longer than other methods I’ve tried.

I am also having this problem. As of the last few hours today. I've restarted my phone several times and when I open the Podcast app, it continues to crash.

Same! It seems a little bit better after I restart my phone but continues to crash sporadically after 5-10 minutes of consistent play.

I deleted and reinstalled ,no luck

I’m having the same problem, the app was working just fine yesterday, but today it keeps crashing, at best I’ll get a few minutes of play time before it crashes

I'm having the same issue. The podcast will play for a few seconds and then the app crashes. Please help!

I'm also experiencing this problem. Re-installed Apple Podcast app and it still does not work.
